相信大家都知道雷锋，一个普通战士的光辉形象，从此深深地印在了中国人民的心中。雷锋叔叔非常节俭，一双袜子补了又补，穿了又穿，可他却用自己每月仅有的6元钱津贴，为全班战友购买了许多学习书籍。他不仅自己认真学习，而且还经常帮助战友，共同提高。20***年，辽宁省遭受特大水灾。他悄悄的给受灾的战友王大力家寄去了20元钱。后来，他又把100元钱，以一名解放军战士的名义捐给了灾区人民。有多少次，雷锋叔叔路过工地，就情不自禁地参加起那里的义务劳动；雷雨来临之际，他又用自己的被子去盖水泥。他在自己的日记中写道：人的生命是有限的，可是为人民服务是无限的，我要把有限的生命，投入到无限的为人民服务中去……一滴水只有放进大海才永远不干，一个人只有把自己融入集体，才有力量。一块木板钉子为什么能钉进去，因为它有两个长处：一个是挤劲，一个是钻劲。我们在学习上也要发扬这种“钉子”精神。雷锋可以这样，作为新世纪得接班人，不正要发扬这种精神么？雷锋说过：我活着，只有一个目的，就是做一个对人民有用的人。
